A Few Pets Are Fine!
Before you choose Pigeons or any other birds as a pet or 4H project for your child , be mindful of the fact that most birds give off a fine powdered feather dust ( protein) that can cause lung damage after long time exposure to enclosed areas with many birds and little ventilation.
