Charles Coll

(As Presented By Bob Rodgers)
The late Col. Chas. Coll was a poultry fancier first and foremost, but he contributed to the entire "Fall Classic", which for many years was run under the name "The Charles H. Coll Memorial Fall Classic". He made sure that funds were made available to cover the cost of new trophies for Juniors so that recycled trophies were not given to them.

After his death, his son Harry carried on the support until a
degenerative health problem prevented him from show activities.

Pictured is Harry on the far left. He is joined by three other poultry fanciers; Ivan Fletcher, Bun Hollingsworth and William Dickie.

Ivan judged poultry and pigeons at exhibitions in Nova Scotia . Bill Dickie has also.

Bun was a co-founder of the "Fall Classic". He and his wife Margaret and Ivan have passed away in recent years since this was first posted. Health problems have prevented Bill from judging in
recent years.

(As Presented By Dave MacPhee)
Charles Coll - For many years he was the major donor for many of the venues used for the Fall Classic. He was always a generous provider of financial aid and advice for all members of the pigeon club and those interested in pigeons and poultry. A collection of pigeons and poultry at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College remain as a reminder of his interest.

Harry Coll continued the interest and financial support initiated by his father.
