The late Col. Chas. Coll was a poultry fancier first and foremost, but
he contributed to the entire "Fall Classic", which for many
years was run under the name "The Charles H. Coll Memorial Fall
Classic". He made sure that funds were made available to cover
the cost of new trophies for Juniors so that recycled trophies were
not given to them.

degenerative health problem prevented him from show activities.

Charles Coll - For many years he was the major donor for many of the
venues used for the Fall Classic. He was always a generous provider
of financial aid and advice for all members of the pigeon club and those
interested in pigeons and poultry. A collection of pigeons and poultry
at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College remain as a reminder of his
